Proxmox Initial Login

Your server has the account cato-user which is configured with the SSH key you provided when registering the server. You should be able to login to this user using that SSH key.

However the Proxmox web UI requires a password. Here are the steps to set it up:

1. ssh cato-user@
2. create a password for cato-user using the passwd utility
3. from a web browser, log in to the Proxmox web UI using :8006 a. ignore the ssl warning because this is a self-signed certificate
4. log in as cato-user using the password you just created

The cato-user user should now have full root access via the Proxmox web UI.
