Firewalls and Load Balancers

Firewalls and Load Balancers

Cato Servers offer both public and private network options. For more information, refer to KB 1004 - Network).

The private network is exclusively yours to configure. You can assign any IP block you choose, and all servers within the same Pod can directly communicate over this network.

With this setup, you can then implement your own firewall on a server. This firewall can route or load-balance traffic into your private network.

You can configure your servers to have their public NIC fully disabled at the network level, further enhancing security.
